Best way to apply Mascara!

Q: Whats the best way to apply mascara?

A: There are lots of different ways to apply mascara, but this is my favorite method:
- Place the brush horizontally at the base of your lashes.
- Move the brush in a Zig-Zag motion upwards, till you reach the tips of your eye lashes.
- Then to distribute the mascara well just run the brush up your lashes and brush them so they are nicely spaced out.
- Repeat steps 1,2 and 3 if necessary.
- For extra volume and length (maybe for the evening) line your brush vertically against the inner corner of your lash line and just drag the brush to your outer most lashes. This separates them more and makes them appear thicker!

Bought : Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara!

Willa writes…
After all the hype on this mascara I had to try it out for myself! And I’m loving it! The tube is absolutely tiny as it the brush. Its got a long lasting formula and claims to have a glossy finish! The long-lasting formula is a great idea for lower lashes as those usually smudge most! The idea is, according to the lady at Clinique, you try to target every single lower lash, really brushing the wand through gently making sure the products gets evenly distributed.
< One coat <
As you can see it really defines the lashes and is small enough to get in the inner corner which a normal mascara wand wouldn’t be able to do. It is very long-lasting but I probably wouldn’t say 24hours as it states but it will get you through a day! It gives a pretty doll like effect and will really open up your eyes. You can even use this on you inner lashes on your upper lash-line! (the tiny ones in the corner)
I bought it in Black but there is Black/brown available, £10 available in Boots.
Rating : 9/10 (So high because it lasted me through a sweaty workout! (: )
You would like it if : -You can never seem to get the lower lashes clump free, -You have very fine/delicate lashes that need a small brush, -You like a doll-like effect, -You want long-lasting effects.
One thing I don’t like: It can be a bit of a pain to remove, it comes off quickly but leaves clumps which require more cleansing.
So overall I really enjoy using this product! Its so cute, small and fun to apply! (Very pretty tube) xxx

Your Lower Lash-lines new Best-friend?

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara!?
Yes, this cute little brush is for your bottom lashes! It has be specifically designed to target out bottom lashes only! It has already received lots of hype from beauty editors!
Editorial Director at WhoWhatWear writes; “I’m so obsessed with this mascara that I’ve even taken to wearing it on my top lashes too; it’s amazing at getting those tiny lashes in the inner and outer corners of your eyes. Final verdict: it’s a miracle product, it’s a must-buy! ” -

It has a new revolutionary formula that stays put for 24 hours! I am super keen to try this as I find it difficult to find a mascara that defines lower lashes and doesn’t leave them clumpy!
Its £10 and is available now!

REVIEW: Boujois Volumizer Mascara, 2 step.
This is a claims to be a Volume Boosting Mascara which is what I was looking for as my eye lashes are naturally rather long. It features the same brush but with two different openings letting different amounts of mascara out with each brush, creating two effects. So you can go natural for the day and glam for the night! whoo
The brush in general is big and with bristles:

Step one brush lets out less mascara creating a clump-free feathery natural look, see below. Step two brush, on the other-hand, really gives the volume and makes your lashes a little clumpy but in a good way, see below. I love the slightly clumpy effect it gives, I knew it would give this effect before I bought it. But if your someone who likes that defined look, this mascara isn’t for you!

There is a significant difference between the two pictures above. There are so many combinations to play around with… You can do is use Step One on the lower lashes and Step Two on the upper lashes. Another way is to first apply step two then comb it out with step one or likewise!
It is not very hard to remove, although I do use an oil cleanser. The Formula is really nice, smooth and moist, not dry at all. Although it can get a bit messy. Overall I really like this mascara and the effect it gives and I think I would re-purchase this as you can create a number of looks with it!
Price : £10.50. Where to buy : Boots, Superdrug, Asos. Rating : 8/10
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara Review

Willa Writes…
Hiya! This is a review on my Favorite mascara of the moment!
Its Max factors Flash Lash Mascara (or Cover Girls Lash Blast)~ We’ve wanted to try this mascara for ages but just never got round to it, so finally a couple of weeks ago we both bought it and haven’t used ANYTHING else since.
To start off with it gives very full, natural and defined lashes all in one~ Just what a girl wants. And as shown above is very build-able, I only showed you one and two coats but you build up even more for a full on, party look!
I like how it does not define EVERY lash, but gives an all over clean (no clumps!) lash line with fullness, which is hard to find in one mascara. The brush is very BIG with hundreds of small spiky brushes and the formula is smooth and lump-free.
Its not too expensive, about £9 and you can buy it in all high street beauty shops!
Whats your fave mascara? Have you tried Falsh Lash effect yet?
